Kim is a teenage girl who has had to take on the responsibility of supporting her father financially since her mother passed away. She lands a job as a chalet girl at an exclusive ski resort and struggles to fit in with the rich clientele. However, she quickly becomes enamored with snowboarding after being taught by the charming Ed, who becomes a close friend and mentor.
Kim discovers that there is a snowboarding competition coming up with a massive cash prize, attracting professional riders from around the world. Although she initially feels out of her depth, Ed encourages her to enter.
As the competition draws nearer, Kim must confront her fears and insecurities, fighting to not only prove herself as a worthy competitor but also provide for her father and family. Her already complicated world becomes even more challenging when she develops romantic feelings for Jonny, her handsome but attached boss.
Despite the odds stacked against her, Kim harnesses her natural talent and steely determination to succeed in the competition and win the cash prize. Along the way, she learns valuable life lessons about bravery, determination, and following your dreams.
