Richard was a shy and introverted college student when his mom disappeared. He couldn't comprehend the sudden emptiness he felt even though his father tried to console him. Richard believed that he could have done something to prevent his mother's disappearance and spent years trying to recall the moments leading up to her disappearance.
When Richard wakes up from his coma, he had been out cold for over a year, and his father seemed to have dictated everything he had missed out on. However, some things didn't add up when the people around him started asking about his scar and his girlfriend that he can't seem to remember. Richard begins to doubt everything around him, causing his father to become more aggressive in controlling him.
As the memories resurface, Richard discovers that he had gotten involved with a group of biohackers experimenting with a powerful mind-expanding drug. But as Richard’s yearning for his lost memories intensifies, his very mind begins to disintegrate before him.
The more he pushes his limits, the more he realizes that reality is nothing but an illusion. And as the secrets of his past are slowly revealed, Richard is forced to confront the shocking truth about his mother's disappearance and the true consequences of his past actions. In the end, Richard must fight to free himself from the mental prison that has entrapped him and discover the truth that haunts his mind.
