Molly Frost is a young woman who is passionate about cooking and catering. She has recently started her own catering business and is looking for opportunities to showcase her skills. She gets a big break when she is hired by Jean Harrison, the director of the Harrison Foundation, to cater the annual Christmas Gala dinner.
Jean is a demanding and perfectionistic woman who expects nothing but the best from Molly. She is also very protective of her nephew, Carson, who has recently returned from traveling the world as a photographer. Jean wants Carson to take over the family’s foundation after she retires, but Carson has no interest in being tied down to a desk job.
When Molly meets Carson, she is immediately smitten with him. He is charming, funny, and has a great eye for photography. However, she realizes that he is off-limits because he is Jean’s nephew. Little does Molly know that Carson is also attracted to her.
As the two work together to ensure that the catering for the gala dinner goes smoothly, they start to develop feelings for each other. However, they are both aware of the complications that could arise if they pursue a relationship.
The night of the gala arrives, and Molly’s catering is a huge success. Jean is pleased with everything, and Carson is impressed with Molly’s talent and hard work. He realizes that he wants to be with her, even if it means going against his aunt’s wishes.
In the end, Molly and Carson declare their love for each other, and Jean realizes that she can’t force her nephew to take over the foundation. She gives Carson her blessing to pursue his dreams, and he and Molly start their own catering business together. The movie ends with the two of them happily running their business and planning their future together.
