Captain Sparky vs. The Flying Saucers is an animated short film about a boy named Victor and his loyal dog Sparky. The film follows Victor as he creates a homemade movie using his toys and sets to bring to life the story of Captain Sparky, a superhero dog who must save the Earth from an invasion of flying saucers. Victor and Sparky work together to defeat the aliens and save the world from destruction. The stop-motion animation style of the film adds a charming and nostalgic touch to the story. The film was directed by Tim Burton and is a part of his larger project, Frankenweenie, which focuses on a young boy who brings his dog back to life.
