Anthony is a struggling artist who becomes obsessed with the legend of Candyman, a vengeful spirit who can be summoned by saying his name five times while looking in a mirror. As Anthony delves deeper into the history of Cabrini-Green and the mysterious figure of Candyman, he begins to lose touch with reality and becomes convinced that he is somehow connected to the vengeful spirit.
As Anthony's mental state deteriorates, he becomes increasingly violent and unpredictable, leading to a series of brutal murders that terrorize the community. Meanwhile, his partner is caught in the crossfire, struggling to understand the dark forces at play and desperately trying to save Anthony from his own inner demons.
As the body count rises and the truth behind Candyman's origins is slowly revealed, Anthony must confront his own past and the legacy of violence that has haunted Cabrini-Green for generations. In a final, bloody showdown, Anthony must come face to face with the true nature of Candyman and decide whether he is capable of breaking the cycle of violence or whether he is doomed to become another victim of the vengeful spirit.
