The movie Camp Nowhere is a comedy film released in 1994, directed by Jonathan Prince. The story revolves around Morris "Mud" Himmel, a 12-year-old boy who hates summer camp and finds it boring. His overbearing parents are determined to send him to a strict summer camp, prompting Mud to come up with a wild scheme to create a fake summer camp with his friends.

Mud teams up with his friends, including computer nerd Gaby, tomboy Trish, and T.R., the class clown to create a fake summer camp in a deserted part of the forest. They recruit a drama teacher named Dennis Van Welker, who is down on his luck and owes money to the IRS, to run the camp. Together, they create a camp that has no rules, no counselors, and most importantly, no parents.

When the parents drop off their kids at the fake camp, things initially go well. The kids have the time of their lives, doing whatever they want, whether it's painting, eating junk food, or playing pranks on each other. However, things start to fall apart when the parents get suspicious, and the local sheriff starts investigating the camp.

While Mud and his friends try to keep the parents at bay, Dennis must come up with a plan to pay off his IRS debts and keep the camp running. Things come to a head when the parents visit the camp and discover the truth. Fortunately, the kids are able to rally together and convince their parents that they had a fantastic summer, despite the deception.

Camp Nowhere features a talented cast that includes Christopher Lloyd, who plays the unorthodox drama teacher, and Jonathan Jackson, in his first film role, as Mud. The movie is a fun-filled adventure that showcases the importance of friendship and the freedom to be oneself.
