Calibre follows Marcus and Vaughn, two childhood friends from the city who head up to a remote Scottish village for a weekend hunting trip. Marcus is going to be a father soon and seeks to get some peace and quiet before the arrival of his newborn. Upon reaching the village, they meet the enigmatic Logan, who introduces them to the local pub.
The next day, the friends head out to hunt deer after a few pints at the pub. Marcus, who has more hunting experience, fires his rifle at a deer, but accidentally kills a young boy. The friends panic and decide to cover up their crime. As they struggle to keep their secret, they lose their way in the dense forest and a series of catastrophic events lead them deeper into a never-ending nightmare.
As the village goes on a search for the missing boy, the stakes are raised, and the pressure mounts on Marcus and Vaughn.
