Cabbage Soup is a comedy film about two best friends, John and Dave, who live on a farm in rural America. They have been farming cabbage for years, and have developed a recipe for a savory cabbage soup that they love to cook and eat.
One day, while out in the field, John and Dave witness a strange object falling from the sky. As they approach the object, they discover that it is a spaceship from another planet. Out of the ship come two aliens, who are very interested in the smell of the cabbage soup that John and Dave are cooking.
The aliens communicate with the farmers using a translator device, and ask if they can try some of the delicious soup. John and Dave are hesitant at first, but eventually share some of their soup with the aliens, who love it.
After tasting the soup, the aliens become obsessed with it and start to visit John and Dave regularly to get more. The farmers are flattered by the attention, and even start to make a profit by selling their soup to the aliens.
As the story progresses, the farmers start to realize that the aliens have ulterior motives for their visits, and they must navigate a series of wacky and surreal situations to protect their beloved cabbage soup recipe.
Cabbage Soup is a zany and fun movie that explores themes of friendship, food, and the incredible lengths that people will go to protect what they love.
