The four teenage graffiti artists, Josh, his girlfriend Kristy, his best friend Rob, and Rob's girlfriend Sharon, are being chased by the police after they were caught graffiti-ing a bridge. They stumble upon an old abandoned schoolhouse and decide to hide there until the coast is clear.
As they explore the building, they discover that it's not as abandoned as they thought. They find evidence that someone has been using the schoolhouse for occult rituals, including pentagrams and animal sacrifices. They also find a journal belonging to a former student named Amanda who was bullied and isolated by her classmates, eventually leading to her suicide.
As they try to leave, they realize that something is preventing them from escaping. Doors that were previously unlocked are now sealed shut and windows won't break. They soon realize that they are trapped in the schoolhouse with an evil presence that is determined to punish them for their sins.
One by one, the teenagers are tormented by visions of their past and the evil presence in the schoolhouse. As they try to fight back and escape, they discover that the only way to survive is to confront their guilt and make amends for their mistakes.
Burnt Offering is a horror-thriller that explores themes of guilt, redemption, and the consequences of our actions. The film is directed by Steve Sessions and stars Scott Rosenfeld, Paige Hullett, and Cameron Chester.
