Bullitt County follows four close friends, Gordie, Robin, Keaton, and Wayne, who reunite in Louisville, Kentucky, to celebrate Gordie's upcoming wedding with a bachelor party. Gordie has always been obsessed with the legend of a stash of hidden Prohibition money buried somewhere on the Bluegrass Bourbon Trail, and he convinces his friends to help him locate it.
As they venture into the backwoods of rural Kentucky, they discover that they are not the only ones searching for the treasure. They encounter two locals, Clayton and Randy, who become suspicious of the group.
As they get closer to discovering the buried treasure, the group begins to unravel, and secrets are revealed. Greed, corruption, and murder soon tear the friends apart, and Gordie is forced to confront the darkest parts of his own personality.
As the group becomes more desperate and isolated, they realize that they are being hunted down by a mysterious figure who is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the location of the buried treasure a secret.
Amidst the chaos and danger, the friends are ultimately forced to choose between loyalty and self-preservation as they struggle to survive the treacherous journey on the Bourbon Trail.
