The cop, James Bonomo, is played by Sylvester Stallone, and the hitman, Taylor Kwon, is played by Sung Kang. Bonomo's partner is killed during a routine investigation into a Las Vegas crime syndicate, while Kwon's partner is killed while investigating a related case in New Orleans. The two men meet when Kwon arrives in Vegas to investigate his partner's death, and they initially clash due to their different approaches to the investigation.
However, they soon realize that their respective cases are connected, and they team up to take down the man behind both sets of crimes: Robert Nkomo Morel, a ruthless businessman and drug lord. Along the way, they are aided by a computer expert named Lisa, played by Sarah Shahi, and a hired killer named Keegan, played by Jason Momoa.
Bonomo and Kwon engage in a series of shootouts and car chases as they try to track down Morel and his henchmen, leading to a final confrontation in a New Orleans warehouse. There, they face off against Morel and his men in a brutal showdown, with Bonomo using his axe and Kwon using his martial arts skills to take down their enemies.
In the end, Bonomo and Kwon are successful in their mission, but not without enduring serious injuries. The two men part ways, agreeing that they may meet again in the future.
