Buck Run

Buck Run is a drama film directed by Nick Frangione. It follows the story of 15-year-old Shaw, who is struggling to come to terms with the sudden death of his mother. In addition to dealing with the loss of his mother, Shaw must also confront his estranged father, who is an alcoholic.

As a result of his difficult home life, Shaw becomes an outsider in his rural community. He is frequently bullied by his peers and has no friends. The only solace Shaw finds is in his love for animals, particularly horses.

One day, Shaw discovers a horse wandering around in the woods near his home. He takes the horse in and begins to care for it, forming a bond with the animal.

Meanwhile, Shaw's father, who has been absent for most of Shaw's life, attempts to reconnect with his son. Despite his father's efforts, Shaw remains closed off and reluctant to let him back into his life.

Throughout the film, Shaw must navigate his confusing emotions and confront his troubled past in order to move forward. With the help of his newfound equine companion and the support of a few unlikely allies, Shaw learns the importance of forgiveness and acceptance.

Buck Run is a poignant and heartfelt coming-of-age story that explores themes of grief, family, and redemption.
