BS High follows the story of Bishop Sycamore, a high school football team that seemingly came out of nowhere to face off against IMG Academy, one of the top-ranked teams in the country. The game, which was broadcast nationally, ended in a lopsided victory for IMG, but it was what was discovered afterwards that shocked the nation.
It turns out that Bishop Sycamore was not a legitimate high school team, but rather a group of post-graduates who had already exhausted their eligibility to play high school football. They had lied to get onto the national schedule and had even falsified their academic records to make it seem like they were a real school.
The film delves into the true motivations of the Bishop Sycamore players and the adults who were behind the scheme. We see how they preyed on vulnerable young men, offering them false promises of success before using them as pawns in their own selfish game.
As the scandal unfolds, we also witness the fallout it has on the world of high school football, with questions being raised about the integrity of the entire system. Through it all, the players of IMG Academy must come to terms with the fact that they unknowingly participated in a spectacle that was anything but a fair game.
