Brothers' Nest

Thriller,Comedy  Australia

Brothers' Nest is a dark comedy thriller film directed by Clayton Jacobson. The story revolves around Terry and Jeff, two brothers who are estranged and living separate lives. When their mother falls terminally ill with cancer, she decides to change her will to leave her entire estate to her new husband, Rob.

Terry and Jeff, always having been protective of their inheritance, hatch a plan to kill their stepdad before he can convince their mother to sign off on the new will. The movie follows the brothers as they attempt to carry out their plan, which quickly spirals out of control.

As the tension builds, the brothers begin to turn on each other, revealing their secrets and resentments. The film is a twisted look at greed, family, and the lengths people will go to protect what they believe is rightfully theirs.

Starring Shane Jacobson and Clayton Jacobson as the two brothers, and Kim Gyngell as their stepdad, Brothers' Nest is a thrilling and darkly humorous take on the classic "whodunit" mystery. The film premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in 2018 and was well-received by critics for its unique blend of humor and suspense.
