Brooklyn's Finest is a 2009 crime drama film directed by Antoine Fuqua. The film depicts the lives of three police officers working in the 65th precinct, one of the most violent and crime-ridden areas of Brooklyn, New York.

The first police officer, Sal (Ethan Hawke), is a struggling undercover cop with a pregnant wife who is desperately trying to make enough money to buy a new house for his family. Sal is willing to do whatever it takes to get the money, including stealing drug money from dealers during his undercover operations.

The second police officer, Tango (Don Cheadle), is a deep-cover officer who has infiltrated a drug gang within the Van Dyke housing projects. However, Tango begins to question his loyalty to the police force when his gang leader, Caz (Wesley Snipes), shows him more compassion than his fellow officers.

The third police officer, Eddie (Richard Gere), is a seasoned cop who is counting down the days until his retirement. Eddie has become disillusioned with the police force and has turned to alcohol and prostitutes to ease his pain.

As their lives entwine, the three police officers find themselves facing difficult moral choices and ethical dilemmas. Sal's desperation to provide for his family leads him down a dangerous path, Tango's loyalty is tested when he forms a close relationship with his gang leader, and Eddie must confront his past mistakes before he can retire with a clear conscience.

Brooklyn's Finest received mixed reviews from critics but was praised for its strong performances from the cast, especially Hawke, Cheadle, and Gere. The film was also noted for its gritty and realistic portrayal of police work in a high-crime area.
