Brooklyn Knight is a sports drama film directed by Brian Skiba. The story centers around two basketball coaches, Kirk and Khalil, who are rivals and coach opposing teams in a high-stakes championship game. After a bad call in the game, the two coaches get into a heated argument and their rivalry only intensifies.
Enter KNight Mathews, played by Jamel "Redrum" Hasan, a talented basketball player who catches the eye of both coaches during the game. Mathews is recruited by both teams but ultimately decides to join Kirk's team. Things get even more complicated when Mathews falls for Brooklyn Taylor, played by Ashley Ferrer, who happens to be Khalil's cousin.
As the basketball season progresses, tensions between the two coaches and their respective teams continue to escalate. This puts Mathews and Brooklyn in a difficult position as they try to navigate their relationship amidst the animosity between their families.
Brooklyn Knight features a talented cast, including Kirk "Sticky Fingaz" Jones, best known for his role as rapper in the hip-hop group Onyx, and Khalil Kain, who has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. The movie also showcases thrilling basketball action sequences and addresses themes of family, loyalty, and the true meaning of winning.
