Broken Soldier tells the story of Jack, a war veteran who returns home with severe PTSD and struggles to adjust to civilian life. He spends his days alone, haunted by his memories and nightmares, until he meets a spunky teenage girl named Lily.
Despite their age difference, Jack and Lily strike up an unlikely friendship. Lily is the only person in town who seems to understand and connect with Jack, and their bond grows stronger as he opens up to her about his trauma.
As their friendship deepens, Jack realizes that Lily is struggling with her own demons. She comes from a troubled home and is dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic event. Together, they find solace in each other's company and work to find a way to heal their wounds together.
However, as Jack's PTSD worsens and his relationships with his family and community deteriorate, Lily is left to confront the harsh reality of their situation. Will she be able to help Jack overcome his demons, or will their friendship crumble under the weight of their trauma?
