Bridge of Dragons is a 1999 action-adventure film directed by Isaac Florentine. The movie takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where General Ruechang is determined to become the ruler of the world. To achieve his goal, he plans to marry Princess Halo and gain control of her kingdom. Warchild, a tough and disciplined mercenary, is tasked with bringing Halo back to Ruechang.
Warchild and his team of soldiers manage to capture Halo and bring her to Ruechang’s palace. However, Halo soon discovers that Ruechang killed her father and decides to escape. Warchild, who has sworn loyalty to Ruechang, is ordered to bring Halo back.
While on the run, Warchild and Halo bond, and slowly fall in love. Determined to stop Ruechang, they unite their forces and start a rebellion against him. With the help of the rebels, they plan an attack on Ruechang’s palace. The final fight scene is a spectacular display of martial arts and combat skills, as Warchild battles Ruechang’s army.
The movie stars Dolph Lundgren as Warchild, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as General Ruechang, and Valerie Chow as Princess Halo. The film’s action sequences were choreographed by martial artist and action film actor, Benny “The Jet” Urquidez. Despite mixed reviews, Bridge of Dragons has gained a cult following among action movie fans for its fast-paced action and over-the-top fight scenes.
