"Bride Wars" follows the story of the two best friends Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Liv (Kate Hudson), who have been dreaming of their perfect weddings since they were young girls. They have always shared their aspirations and plans with each other, but when they both get engaged at the same time, things take a competitive turn.
The two women have their hearts set on having their weddings at the extravagant Plaza Hotel in New York City, but when a scheduling error books them for the same day, they become rivals. Neither wants to give up her dream wedding or the chance to marry at the most prestigious venue in the city.
As the two women battle it out and go to great lengths to sabotage each other's wedding plans, their once unbreakable bond starts to crack. The situation only worsens when Emma's fiancé, Fletcher (Chris Pratt), and Liv's fiancé, Daniel (Steve Howey), get caught in the middle of the feud.
