Brick Mansions is a 2014 action movie directed by Camille Delamarre and written by Luc Besson. It is a remake of the French movie District B13. The film is set in a dystopian version of Detroit where the government has walled off the poorest neighborhoods to contain crime and poverty. The plot revolves around an undercover cop, Damien Collier (played by Paul Walker), who is tasked with bringing in a drug lord named Tremaine (played by RZA), who killed his father. To do this, Damien teams up with Lino (played by David Belle), a reformed criminal who knows the Brick Mansions neighborhood like the back of his hand.

The movie begins with Tremaine stealing a neutron bomb from a government facility in order to blackmail the city. He plans to plant the bomb in the heart of Brick Mansions and demand a ransom from the government. Damien, who is also tasked with recovering the bomb, partners with Lino to infiltrate Tremaine's gang and stop the bomb from detonating.

As the two work together to take down Tremaine and save the city, they face a number of challenges, including corrupt police officers, rival gangs, and the ticking clock of the bomb's countdown. Along the way, Damien and Lino develop a mutual respect and understanding, even as they come from very different worlds.

In addition to the intense action sequences and fast-paced plot, Brick Mansions also explores themes of social inequality, police corruption, and the power of community. Despite its futuristic setting, the film's themes and messages remain relevant to contemporary society.
