Breaking Brooklyn follows the story of a 12-year-old boy named Izzy, who dreams of becoming a professional dancer. Izzy and his older brother, Vinny, are struggling to survive on the gritty streets of Brooklyn after their mother dies. Their father is in prison, and the boys are forced to fend for themselves.
One day, Izzy's talent catches the eye of a talented showman named Miles, who takes Izzy and Vinny under his wing. Miles introduces the boys to his estranged former dancing partner, a man named Saul, and he takes them to live with him.
Saul is initially resistant to taking in the boys, but he eventually warms up to them and starts to see their potential as dancers. He begins to teach Izzy new styles of dance and helps him train for an upcoming competition.
As Izzy's passion for dance grows, he also begins to develop a bond with a young girl named Angelina, who shares his drive to succeed. Together, they push each other to reach new heights in their dancing.
But when a rival dance crew threatens to derail Izzy's dreams, he must use all his talent and courage to overcome the obstacles in his path.
