Braddock: Missing in Action III is a 1988 action movie directed by Aaron Norris. The movie is a sequel to the 1984 film Missing in Action and the 1985 film Missing in Action 2: The Beginning, and it follows the character of James Braddock, played by Chuck Norris, as he goes on a mission to rescue his wife and son from a Vietnamese prison camp.
The story begins with Braddock, who is now a businessman, facing a troubling past. Ten years ago, he was captured during the Vietnam War and held as a prisoner of war. Braddock uses his military skills and high-tech weaponry to infiltrate the prison camp and rescue his family and the children. He fights against the abusive Vietnamese officers and manages to escape the camp with his family and the children. However, they are pursued by a sadistic Vietnamese officer, Colonel Yin (played by Aki Aleong), who is determined to stop them.
Braddock and his group face numerous challenges as they traverse through the jungle in a dangerous cross-country race for freedom. They encounter traps, ambushes, and other dangers, but Braddock is determined to protect his family and the children. In the end, Braddock manages to defeat Colonel Yin and escape Vietnam with his family and the children.
The movie received mixed reviews from critics but was a box-office success, grossing over $16 million in the US. Braddock: Missing in Action III is known for its action-packed scenes and Norris' portrayal of the tough and fearless James Braddock.
