Boys from County Hell is a horror-comedy film set in rural Ireland. The story centers around Eugene Moffat, a young man who works on a road crew alongside his father, Francie, and a group of their friends. They are tasked with taking down a standing stone monument that legend says is the resting place of an ancient Irish vampire known as the Abhartach.
Despite warnings from the local townspeople, the crew proceeds with the demolition of the monument. However, as they break away the stone, they discover a coffin hidden beneath it. Upon accidentally awakening the Abhartach, the crew is plunged into a fight for survival as the vampire begins to wreak havoc on the small town.
As tension rises between Francie and Eugene, they must put their differences aside to lead the crew in a battle against the Abhartach. Along the way, they must confront their own internal demons and come to terms with their past mistakes.
