Boys is a coming-of-age sports drama that follows the lives of two high school track stars, John and Sarah, who are paired up for the biggest relay race of their young lives. John (played by Michael Polish) is a hotshot runner who has trouble connecting with his teammates due to his brash attitude and lack of social skills. Sarah (played by Maureen Flannigan) is a new transfer student who is just as driven to succeed as John, but has a more laid-back personality.
