Lauren is a successful marketing executive who has closed herself off emotionally following several disappointments in the love department. However, leading up to Christmas, she is visited by the ghosts of four of her ex-boyfriends, all of whom teach her valuable lessons about life, love, and the importance of being true to oneself.
Through a series of flashbacks and dream sequences, we learn about Lauren's past relationships and the unresolved issues that have prevented her from moving on. With the help of the ghosts, she is able to confront her fears and come to terms with the mistakes she made in the past.
Meanwhile, Lauren's best friend Nate has been secretly in love with her for years. As she begins to open her heart and let go of her emotional baggage, he sees an opportunity to finally express his feelings. But will Lauren be ready to receive his love, or will she let him slip away?
As Christmas approaches, Lauren must make a choice between holding onto the past or embracing the present and future. With a little help from her ghostly exes and a lot of encouragement from Nate, she discovers the true meaning of Christmas and the power of love.
