Boris Karpov, an aging KGB agent who defected to the United States at the end of the Cold War, finds himself in a dire situation when he discovers that a group of Russian terrorists have planted a nuclear bomb in the city. The bomb's detonation is set to occur in 48 hours, and Boris is the only one who can diffuse it.
Desperate to prevent a catastrophic event, Boris hails an Uber and gets into the back seat with the nuclear device in tow. To his surprise, the driver, a young aspiring musician named Jimmy, is more interested in talking about his dreams of making it big in the music industry than paying attention to his life-saving mission.
As they drive around the city, Boris and Jimmy form an unlikely bond, with Boris sharing stories of his past as a spy and imparting life lessons to the young man. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, including Russian hitmen and corrupt government officials, who will stop at nothing to get their hands on the bomb.
With time running out, Boris must use all his training and experience to disarm the bomb before it's too late. Through their journey, Boris and Jimmy learn important lessons about life, love, and the importance of standing up for what is right.
