Borgman is a Dutch thriller movie directed by Alex van Warmerdam. The story revolves around a man named Camiel Borgman, played by Jan Bijvoet, who appears out of nowhere and makes his way into the lives of a wealthy family living in a secluded suburb. The family consists of a couple, Marina and Richard (Hadewych Minis and Jeroen Perceval), their three children, and their nanny, Stine (Sara Hjort Ditlevsen).
Borgman, who initially appears to be a homeless man seeking refuge, manages to convince Marina to let him stay in the guesthouse in their backyard. As he starts to integrate himself into their home, Borgman shows his true sinister nature and begins to manipulate the family members, eventually leading them down a dark path of violence and destruction.
