Bordertown: The Mural Murders is a crime thriller that follows the story of Kari Sorjonen, a detective who works for the National Bureau of Investigation in Finland. Sorjonen is a highly skilled and respected detective, known for his ability to solve even the most complex cases.
The movie opens with the discovery of a mural painted on the wall of Pasila train station. The mural features the image of Finland's most notorious serial killer, Lasse Maasalo, and the text "Making the world a better place." Not long after the mural is discovered, the first victim is found. It quickly becomes evident that the murders are connected to the social media campaign and that someone is acting as a vigilante, taking justice into their own hands.
