The young woman's name is Laura, and she has been struggling with a severe phobia of the boogeyman since childhood. The fear has taken a toll on her life, causing her to become isolated and paranoid.
Desperate for a cure, Laura checks herself into a mental health facility where she meets a group of fellow patients with their own issues. While undergoing therapy and medication, Laura begins to believe that she is making progress and has overcome her fear.
However, things take a sinister turn when her fellow patients begin to disappear one by one, and Laura starts to experience terrifying hallucinations of the boogeyman. She realizes too late that the mental health facility is not what it seems, and she may be trapped with her own greatest fear.
As Laura races to uncover the truth and escape, she must confront her deep-seated fears and finally overcome them before it's too late. Will she be able to conquer the boogeyman once and for all?
