Cecile is a promiscuous and selfish teenager who is used to having all of her desires fulfilled by her doting father. Their carefree lifestyle is threatened when Raymond's former lover, Anne, comes to stay at the villa. Anne is a successful businesswoman who is both poised and elegant, and Cecile feels intimidated by her presence.

Cecile becomes desperate to maintain the status quo, and schemes to keep Raymond and Anne apart. She embarks on a flirtatious relationship with a young man named Phillipe, hoping to distract Raymond and keep him away from Anne. However, her plan ultimately fails when Raymond and Anne resume their relationship.

Cecile responds by manipulating the situation to her advantage, pushing Anne to leave Raymond and return to her former life. However, the consequences of her actions ultimately catch up with her, and she is forced to confront the reality of her choices.
