Body Count is a crime thriller film released in 1998. The movie opens with a group of five thieves who attempt to rob an art gallery in Detroit. Their plan backfires, and one of the men is killed during the robbery. The group decides to leave the city and head south to lay low.
As they are traveling, the group runs into troubles with the law and find themselves being pursued by two detectives. Along the way, they meet up with a woman named Chino (played by Alyssa Milano), a seductive con artist who has her own plans for the group.
Chino convinces the group to rob a wealthy businessman's mansion, promising them a big payout. However, things don't go as smoothly as planned, and the group finds themselves in even more trouble, with the detectives hot on their trail.
As tensions escalate, the group must navigate treacherous alliances and overcome their own suspicions and fears if they want to survive. The film features intense action sequences, thrilling suspense, and a cast of talented actors, including David Caruso, John Leguizamo, and Ving Rhames.
