Bob the Butler is a 2005 Canadian family comedy film directed by Gary Sinyor. The film follows the story of Bob Tree (Tom Green), a man looking for a job in alphabetical order, who ends up becoming a butler. Bob starts working as a butler for a wealthy family consisting of Tess Jamieson, a young girl, and her father, Bates Jamieson, a workaholic businessman.

Bob initially struggles to adjust to his new role, as he's a clumsy and chaotic person. His constant mishaps put him at odds with the strict and disapproving Mrs. Molly McIntyre (Brooke Shields), his instructor at the butler school. However, he wins over Tess, who is intrigued by his quirks and funny personality. The father, Bates, is hesitant at first, but starts to appreciate Bob's unconventional methods for helping Tess cope with her strict schedule and demanding school work.

Things take a turn when Bob's former boss, Andy (Simon Callow), a con artist, shows up pretending to be a butler, looking to scam the Jamieson family. Bob and Andy engage in a series of competitions to prove who's the best butler, with Bob's good nature and fun-loving personality winning over the family and helping him come out on top.
