Comedy  Germany,United States of America

Boat Trip is a comedy film released in 2002, directed by Mort Nathan and starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Horatio Sanz. The story follows two best friends, Jerry (Gooding Jr.) and Nick (Sanz), who decide to go on a singles cruise to forget about their relationship problems. However, due to a series of misunderstandings, they end up on a cruise for gay men only.

At first, Jerry and Nick are shocked by the revelation and try to hide their heterosexuality. They quickly become the object of affection for many of the male passengers, including the charming dance instructor Gabriella and a flamboyant entertainer named Hector. Meanwhile, the straight duo desperately tries to find a way off the ship and return to their original cruise.

As the cruise goes on, both men begin to question their own sexuality and discover more about themselves. Jerry develops feelings for Gabriella and Nick starts to bond with Hector, leading to even more confusion and misunderstandings. Along the way, the two friends also have to deal with a homophobic celebrity on board and a group of ex-convicts who are also on the cruise.

The movie was criticized by some for its stereotypical portrayal of gay men and for using homosexuality as a punchline. However, some praised the performances of the lead actors and the movie's message of accepting oneself. Despite mixed reviews, Boat Trip has since gained a cult following among fans of Gooding Jr. and Sanz's comedic talents.
