Blue Monkey is a horror movie that takes place in a hospital where a group of doctors and nurses are working to stop the spread of a mysterious bacterial infection that has affected several people who have come into contact with a rare exotic plant. One of the victims who was bitten by the insect while working in the greenhouse, and gets hospitalized, becomes the focus of the story. They are struggling to survive the rapidly spreading infection and the parasite that has now emerged from the host's body.
The parasite takes on the form of a large, slimy worm-creature that is extremely aggressive and starts attacking the people around it. The nurses and doctors are forced to quarantine the infected patients and the creature to prevent the spread of the infection and keep the hospital's other patients safe.
However, things quickly spiral out of control when they realize that the creature has grown to massive proportions after being accidentally exposed to a growth stimulant. It has now become a terrifying monster that is loose and rampaging in the abandoned wing of the hospital. The staff must band together to stop the creature before it can escape and wreak havoc on the outside world.
