Dana, played by Sasha Jackson, is a talented surfer who has been living in California with her father and sister. However, she's haunted by the death of her mother, who was also a surfer and passed away while catching waves.
One day, Dana discovers a note from her mother, where she mentions her dream of surfing Jefferys Bay in South Africa. Dana sees this as an opportunity to fulfill her mother's wishes and overcome her own fears, so she sets off on a journey to South Africa.
Once she arrives in Jefferys Bay, Dana befriends a group of surfers, including the charming and talented Kyle, played by Sharni Vinson. Together, they face the challenges of the ocean and try to conquer the infamous "Supertubes" wave.
Throughout her journey, Dana learns more about her mother's life as a surfer and how the sport can bring people together and heal the pain of loss. She also discovers her own strengths and weaknesses as a surfer, but ultimately learns to trust herself and pursue her dreams.
