The main character, Michelle, is struggling to come to terms with being a vampire. She's afraid of the bloodlust and doesn't want to become a monster. Meanwhile, Radu is still obsessed with her and desperate to get the bloodstone back. He sends his minion, a young boy named Zoran, to find Michelle and retrieve the stone.
Michelle's sister, Rebecca, is a college student who doesn't believe in vampires until she witnesses Michelle's transformation. She travels to Romania to try and save her sister, but she's in over her head. Radu captures Rebecca and uses her as leverage to get the bloodstone. Michelle is torn between her loyalty to her sister and her fear of becoming a killer.
As the story progresses, we see more of the vampire community in Romania. There are other families who are also seeking the bloodstone, and they all have their own agendas. Michelle finds herself caught in the middle of a power struggle, and she must decide which side to support.
The film is full of action-packed fight scenes between the vampires and the humans who dare to cross their path. It's a dark, moody tale of love, power, and redemption. Will Michelle and Rebecca be able to escape Radu's clutches and find a way back to their former lives? Or will they be consumed by the darkness of the vampire world forever?
