In addition to being a skilled samurai, Saya is also an agent for a secret organization known as "The Council." The Council's mission is to eliminate all vampires, who pose a significant threat to humanity. Saya is sent to a military school in Japan that is suspected to be infested with vampires. There, she befriends a young student named Alice McKee and forms an unlikely alliance with a vampire named David to take down the head vampire, Onigen, who is responsible for the creation of many other vampires.
Throughout the film, Saya battles both physical enemies and the internal struggle of her own vampiric nature. She is constantly haunted by memories of her past, including the traumatic event that turned her mother into a vampire. As she battles to rid the world of vampires, Saya begins to question whether her own existence is worth the cost and if there is any hope for her in a world that views her as both a threat and a means to an end.
