Comedy  United States of America

Blockers is a 2018 comedy film directed by Kay Cannon and follows the story of three parents, Lisa, Mitchell and Hunter who discover that their teenage daughters, Julie, Kayla, and Sam, have made a pact to lose their virginity on prom night. The parents are shocked and determined to stop their daughters from going through with their plan, leading them on a wild and raunchy adventure.

As they try to track down their daughters' whereabouts, the parents encounter a series of unexpected events and obstacles, including a wild party, a drugged-out limousine driver, and a game of truth or dare.

While Lisa, Mitchell, and Hunter struggle to come to terms with their daughters' growing independence, they also learn a lot about themselves and their relationships with each other. The film tackles themes of friendship, trust, and the challenges that come with parents letting go of their children as they grow up.

Blockers features an ensemble cast, including John Cena, Leslie Mann, and Ike Barinholtz as the parents, and Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Gideon Adlon as the teenage daughters. The film was both a critical and commercial success, receiving positive reviews for its humor and heart, and grossing over $94 million at the box office.
