Bleeding Steel is a 2017 Chinese science fiction action thriller film directed and written by Leo Zhang. It also stars Show Lo, Na-Na OuYang, Erica Xia-Hou, Callan Mulvey, and Tess Haubrich.
The film takes place in the near future, where a special forces agent named Lin Dong (played by Jackie Chan) is tasked with protecting a young woman named Nancy (played by Na-Na OuYang) who holds the key to a mysterious experiment that could unlock a new level of biological warfare.
As the two go on the run, Lin discovers that there is a deeper connection between him and Nancy. Flashbacks reveal that they were once in love in a past life, and their current situation may be linked to a tragic event from that previous existence.
Meanwhile, a sinister criminal organization led by Andre (played by Callan Mulvey) is on their trail, determined to capture Nancy and unlock the secrets she holds.
The film features high-octane action sequences, including a motorcycle chase through the streets of Sydney and a climactic showdown in a futuristic laboratory.
Bleeding Steel was released in China in December 2017 and later received a limited release in the United States in 2018.
