Ichigo and Senna soon discover that she is a "Memory Rosary," a being created from the memories of countless fallen souls by a rogue group of shinigami called the "Dark Ones." The Dark Ones plan to use Senna's power to open the "Valley of Screams," a dimension where they can re-create the world as they see fit. Ichigo and his friends must team up with the Soul Society to defeat the Dark Ones and protect both the living and the dead. As Ichigo and Senna develop a close bond, he must make a difficult decision when he learns the truth about her fate. The film features intense action sequences and explores themes of loss, memory, and sacrifice.
