Black Rainbow is a thriller movie directed by Mike Hodges, which was released in 1989. The movie is set in the UK in the 1960s and revolves around a young woman named Martha Travis who is a psychic medium. Martha performs in front of audiences, making contact with spirits on the other side, and giving messages to their loved ones.

One day, Martha meets a couple, Mary and Charles Kuron, at one of her performances. Charles asks Martha to deliver a message from his deceased wife to his new spouse, Mary. However, during the performance, Martha senses that Charles has murdered his first wife. Martha tries to warn Mary and the authorities, but they do not believe her.

As Martha continues to receive messages from the other side, she learns that Charles is planning to kill his new wife to protect his secret. Martha tries to stop him, but she is unable to do so.
