"Bit" follows the story of Laurel, a teenage transgender girl who moves to Los Angeles to start a new life. In LA, she stumbles upon a group of feminist vampires who are fighting to reclaim the city from the patriarchal influence of male vampires.
Laurel is quickly drawn into the group's cause and begins to learn about the history of vampire culture and their mission to create a more inclusive and diverse society. She also finds love and acceptance within this group, which is composed of vampires of various races, genders, and sexual orientations.
As Laurel becomes more involved in the group, she discovers that there are darker forces at work, and the feminist vampires are being hunted by a powerful and dangerous male vampire who is bent on maintaining the status quo.
"Bit" explores themes of gender identity, sexuality, and intersectional feminism while also offering a unique take on the vampire genre. The film challenges traditional notions of what it means to be a vampire, and showcases the power of unity in the face of oppression and discrimination.
