The story of Birth/Rebirth is set in a future where technology has progressed to the point where it is possible to bring the dead back to life. The protagonist, a single mother named Laura, is devastated when her young daughter dies in a tragic accident. Desperate to bring her child back to life, Laura seeks out the services of a morgue technician named Lucas who has special expertise in reanimating the dead.
