The group is led by Lupita, a strong and stubborn woman who refuses to allow her community to be gentrified.
However, their beloved Bingo hall is about to be sold, and the buyers are not interested in preserving the community's traditions. Lupita and her friends soon discover that the buyers are part of a much more powerful and sinister force than just the desire for more money.
