The movie begins with a peaceful and tranquil forest where Big Buck Bunny resides. Bunny is depicted as a gentle and kind-hearted character who loves butterflies and enjoys playing with them. However, his peaceful life is soon disrupted by three bullying rodents named Frank, Rinky, and Gamera. The trio finds joy in bullying helpless creatures in the forest by throwing fruits, nuts, and rocks at them.
Bunny witnesses the trio's cruel behavior and tries to intervene, but they only mock and torture him instead. In one instance, Frank, Rinky, and Gamera kill two of Bunny's favorite butterflies, causing him immense grief and sadness. Bunny cannot bear to see the trio relentlessly harassing his friends and decides to take revenge.
Bunny orchestrates a complex plan to teach the trio a lesson. He recruits the help of other creatures in the forest, including some of the bullies' previous victims, to enact his plan. The plan involves tricking Frank, Rinky, and Gamera into a trap where they are flung into the air by a lever and land into a pond, soaked and humiliated.
As Bunny watches the trio swim away, he breaks character and laughs at their misfortune. The movie ends with Bunny happily playing with his friends again and the bullies' reign of terror finally put to an end.
Overall, the movie portrays the message that bullying and harassing others is not acceptable and that it is important to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. It also shows the consequences of one's actions and the power of unity and teamwork.
