Big Ass Spider! is a comedic, sci-fi horror film released in 2013. The movie follows ex-convict and current exterminator, Alex Mathis, as he battles a giant alien spider that has escaped from a military lab. Along with his unlikely partner, security guard Jose Ruiz, they chase the spider across Los Angeles as it wreaks havoc and leaves destruction in its path.
Their mission becomes urgent when they discover that the spider is not only growing in size but also reproducing at an alarming rate. As the spider multiplies, Alex and Jose race against time to stop the creature before it destroys the entire city.
Throughout their journey, they encounter a cast of quirky characters, including an eccentric scientist and a team of special ops soldiers sent to capture the spider. In an unexpected turn, Alex and Jose also discover that the spider has a secret weakness that could be the key to defeating it.
