In Beverly Hills Cop III, Axel Foley (played by Eddie Murphy) returns to Los Angeles to investigate the murder of his boss, Inspector Douglas Todd. He teams up with his old friend Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), who is now a captain in the Beverly Hills police department.
As they investigate, they discover that the park is owned by a powerful man named Ellis DeWald (Timothy Carhart), who is using it as a front for his counterfeiting operation. DeWald is a former associate of Todd's, and it soon becomes clear that he is responsible for his murder.
Axel goes undercover at the park as a ride operator and is aided by two new allies, a technician named Janice Perkins (Theresa Randle) and a streetwise kid named "Whip" (played by Chris Rock). Together, they uncover DeWald's plan to flood the market with millions of counterfeit bills and track down the people responsible for Todd's death.
The film features several action-packed set pieces, including a high-speed chase through the park's roller coaster, a shootout in a factory, and a final showdown at DeWald's mansion. As with the previous Beverly Hills Cop films, Beverly Hills Cop III blends action, comedy, and suspense to create an entertaining ride for audiences.
