The movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua follows the adventures of Chloe, a spoiled Chihuahua who has been accustomed to a life of luxury in Beverly Hills. During a vacation in Mexico with her owner Viv's niece, Rachel, Chloe gets lost and finds herself alone on the streets of Mexico City.
Frightened and vulnerable, Chloe is taken in by a group of street dogs, including Delgado, a charming but tough German Shepherd. Together, they embark on a perilous journey across Mexico as they try to make their way back to Beverly Hills before Rachel and Viv realize that Chloe is missing.
Along the way, Chloe learns about the ups and downs of life on the streets and discovers the joys of true friendship and loyalty. However, danger lurks in the form of the ruthless dognapper who has his sights set on Chloe and will stop at nothing to capture her and hold her for ransom.
With the help of her new friends, including a tech-savvy rat named Pep and a sassy Chihuahua named Chico, Chloe must use all her wits and resourcefulness to outsmart the dognapper and make her way back home to Beverly Hills. In the end, Chloe discovers that true happiness lies not in material possessions but in the love and loyalty of those around her.
