Better Than Love is a gripping drama film that tells the story of a young man named Dean, who is led down a treacherous path of drug dealing after his father's death. With his mother struggling to make ends meet, and his girlfriend Amelia moving away, Dean becomes the sole breadwinner for himself and his friends.
Initially, Dean starts dealing drugs as a way to make quick cash, but soon finds himself unable to escape the addictive forces of Oxycontin, a prescription medication that his friends and clients are hooked on. As he grapples with his own demons, he tries to elevate the lives of the people around him by using the money he earns to help them find work, pay bills, and pursue their dreams.
Despite his best efforts, Dean's drug business spirals out of control, and he becomes increasingly paranoid and desperate to get out. With his girlfriend and best friend urging him to turn himself in, Dean must face the consequences of his actions and confront the ugly reality of drug addiction.
