Berserk: The Golden Age Arc 3 - The Advent is a Japanese anime film that is based on the manga series Berserk written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. The film is directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka and produced by Studio 4°C.

The film takes place after the events of the first two films in the Golden Age Arc trilogy, where Guts leaves the Band of the Hawks after discovering Griffith's true intentions. Now, a year has passed, and Guts is still struggling with the trauma of the Eclipse, a horrific event that resulted in the deaths of many of his comrades and the sacrifice of his lover, Casca.

Meanwhile, the Band of the Hawks, led by Caska and Judeau, is planning a daring rescue mission to save Griffith, who has been imprisoned and tortured for a year. They believe that Griffith is the key to restoring their group and finding their way back to victory on the battlefield.

As the Band of the Hawks sets out on their mission, Guts becomes embroiled in a deadly conflict with a band of mercenaries known as the Bakiraka. These vicious fighters are all female assassins who have been hired to prevent the Band of the Hawks from rescuing Griffith.

With tensions rising on all sides, Guts must decide whether to return to the band he once fought alongside or continue on his lone journey of vengeance. Meanwhile, the Band of the Hawks must overcome seemingly insurmountable odds in order to save their beloved leader and secure their future as mercenaries.
